ABOUT

It is such an honor and joy to walk with others on their life path, discovering God in surprising, intimate, delightful places. My own journey with God has been quite the ongoing adventure! From childhood evangelical fundamentalism, through a first career as a biomedical engineer doing implantable defibrillator research in Minnesota, to completing an MDiv while struggling with severe depression and divorce. After worship and spiritual formation ministry within churches, God wooed me to the US-Mexico border to discover Jesus among the migrants and explode my understanding of the Sacred. I am now a regenerative farmer working towards opening a farm-centered trauma recovery space where those on the margins can embrace holy healing and belonging. It’s the most exciting thing I’ve ever attempted!

It is out of my own intense experiences of brokenness, healing, stretched faith, and God’s utter (if sometimes hidden) intimacy that I can offer safe listening, compassion, real-world questions and gentle humor to others who also find themselves on a life adventure.

Other important details:  cat lady, tattoos, sci-fi, retired rock climber, hopeless nerd, Brene Brown fan, graduate from the Center for Action & Contemplation’s Living School, and coffee snob. I love horses.
